In my opinion it's not a good choice. I'm basing it on what i've seen from him in Poland
Until winter break last season(he was managing Legia) he seemed like a very decent manager.
Even though his team didn't play beautiful football they looked cohesive, had a good defence and were getting pretty good results
During the winter it seems like everything fell apart. Legia played almost exclusively hoofball in the attack. Their approach was very defensive, they looked timid and scared even against the worst teams in the league.
The atmosphere was also apparently pretty trash during that time - some stories(which may be true or untrue) surfaced, which didn't make him look good.
All in all i believe he could be a decent firefighter manager, but after that he needs to go or he will start a new fire himself
As histórias:
Throwing dirty shoes at staff member (Legia's not his) to wash them
Taking the team to dinner and making them pay for him and his staff
Players couldn't talk to media or leave Warsaw (to visit families for example) without his permission even when they had a day off
Players had to answer his calls at any time of the day or get fined
During the winter camp he would get a different, better food than the players
That's from the top of my head. You have also some usual stuff like arguements with media or not shaking opposition's coach hand.
Not many things left the lockerroom, they also aren't super bad, but they draw a portait of a very unpleasant person. And I suspect there is more
